How engagement works
Monjiz engagements are structured, not open-ended. Each one has a clear starting point, a defined scope, and an explicit next step at every stage.
Five stages
Enquiry
Submit a proposal request or book a scoping call. We review fit and scope and respond after review with a route decision: proposal, scoping, or a note that the matter is not the right fit.
Proposal or scoping
Where your matter is clear enough to scope responsibly, we issue a structured commercial proposal. Where brief clarification would improve the scope and route, we hold a short scoping call first.
Engagement
On acceptance we issue an engagement letter and begin work. Project mandates start on receipt of the agreed deposit. Recurring support mandates start from first payment.
Delivery
We coordinate with the relevant authorities, track progress, and keep you informed at each material stage. We do not subcontract your matter without your knowledge.
Close or continuation
Project mandates close with a handover note confirming what has been completed and what the next steps are, if any. Recurring mandates continue on a monthly basis until 30 days' written notice is given by either party.
What to expect
We review every enquiry before committing to a scope. If the matter is not the right fit, for any reason, we will say so clearly at the route-decision stage rather than after a proposal has been issued.
There are no open-ended retainers and no vague commitments. Every mandate has a clear scope, explicit deliverables, and a defined close point or continuation mechanism.
Every Monjiz engagement begins with a signed engagement letter that defines scope, deliverables, fees, and the close point. No work begins without one. No fees are invoiced for work outside the agreed scope without prior written approval. We don't subcontract your matter without your explicit knowledge and agreement.
