Post-Registration & Operational Activation

Your Oman company is registered. Now it needs to actually work. Monjiz coordinates the full activation sequence: Tawteen, VAT, licensing, and bank account readiness.

Operational activation

Most companies hit the same wall after registration: Tawteen, VAT coordination, licensing, and bank account readiness all need to happen before the business can actually function. Monjiz coordinates the full activation sequence, so your company is not just registered, but operational.

For entities that are already registered but operationally disordered, we first review the current position and identify what needs to be resolved before scoping a mandate.

A Commercial Register number is not a functioning company. Tawteen, VAT, licensing, and a working bank account are what make it real.

Tawteen registration

Coordination with the National Centre for Employment (Tawteen) to meet Omanisation requirements and establish your employer record.

VAT registration

Coordination with the Oman Tax Authority (OTA) for VAT registration where the entity meets or approaches the OMR 38,500 annual threshold.

Licensing coordination

Municipal licence and sector-specific licensing liaison with the relevant authorities, tied to your registered premises.

Bank account readiness

Document preparation and coordination to support commercial bank account opening, typically 3-6 weeks for foreign-owned entities.

Indicative timelines

Operational activation typically takes 3-6 weeks after CR issuance, depending on authority processing times and documentation readiness. Bank account opening adds 2-6 weeks on top. Your specific timeline is confirmed at proposal stage.
